Ghoul the unknown men Playing a thrashy, Punky, Deathy type of music. This Oakland, California band Just released an EP entitled "Hang Ten".
This new EP has a Biker feeling all through it. I feel like I'm on hwy 1 on a chopper.
That being said. The band sounds like they recorded in a garage insulated with Egg cartons (Not even a bad thing). Makes you think of old garagey punk like "The Ramones". I hint Slight Death metal with in this however I hear a very plain Heavy thrash Metal Punk laden Album.
The vocals are not that good a little weak and not that many of them. The guitar fills most of the song and Most of the Riffs are amazing and bring the feeling of a foggy California Day to mind. The bass is a little harsh and drowns out the rest of the band. The album is Redeemed by Heavy and Aggressive Guitar work and the Punk Feeling.
